We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:8, 48:16; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalm 90:2, 102:27; John 3:16, 4:24; 1 Timothy 1:17; Titus 1:3)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings; His substitutionary atoning death; bodily resurrection; ascension into heaven; perpetual intercession for His people; and personal, visible return to earth. We believe that He is one and the same as God. He was fully human and fully God. (Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:23; Mark 16:19; Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-2, 8:58,11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 1:2; Revelation 1:8)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower in ministry all who believe in Christ. (John 16:8-11; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26, 15:13,16; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Hebrews 9:14) We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. (John 16:13, 14:16-17, 16:8-11; Romans 8:26) We believe that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit and power for service, either at the time of or subsequent to regeneration, which is a separate work from the indwelling Spirit for salvation. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Spirit as reflected through the fruit of that same Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12-14)
We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice. (Isaiah 28:13; Nehemiah 8:8; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:3-4, 21)
We believe God created the first humans, Adam and Eve, in his image and sinless. They fell into sin by disobeying God at the suggestion of Satan. Subsequently all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit, all of his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, assured of spending eternity with the Lord. (Genesis 1:26-28, 3:1-24; Matthew 11:28; John 3:16; Acts 3:19, 20:21; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8-9; 1 John 2:2; Revelation 22:17)
We believe in the universal Church, in the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. (Matthew 16:16–18; Acts 2:42–47; Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:20–23; 4:3–10; Colossians 1:18, 3:14–15; Rev.ation 5:9)
Men and women, equal in value, dignity, and worth have complementary roles, whereby only qualified men serve as pastors and elders in the Church. (1 Corinthians 11:1-12; Ephesians 5:22-6:4; 1 Timothy 2:1-15 3:1-7)
The Church does not replace Israel in God’s plans. (Romans 9-11)
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. We believe baptism is by immersion. We regularly celebrate Communion according to the Scriptural guidelines. (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
We await the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, and we believe in the literal Second Coming of Christ with His saints to rule the earth, which will be personal and visible. This motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God’s word, regular fellowship, and participation in baptism and Communion. (John 14:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55, Revelation 3:10; Acts 1:10-11; Revelation 20:1-6; Luke 1:31-33; Isaiah 9:6-7)
We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell and that all those who place their faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. Those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from the Lord (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 5:3, 5:22, 18:9, 25:31-34; Mark 9:42-49; Luke 12:5; John 3:18; Hebrews 12:23; I Peter 1:4; Revelation 14:10-11, 20:11-15)
We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end and abortion is in direct violation of God’s law. We are unapologetically pro-life and believe that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of others, both preborn and born. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5)
We believe that marriage is exclusively the union between one man and one woman in a lifetime commitment to each other. Marriage reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church and provides for procreation, intimate companionship, and the only basis for sexual relations. Marriage is the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. (Genesis 2:23-24; Matthew 19:4-6; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Ephesians 5:3)
We believe that God disapproves of any attempt to alter one’s gender (as revealed at birth) through surgery, medicine, appearance, or otherwise and such an attempt violates God’s creative order. Sex and gender are inseparably determined by God at the moment of creation and may not be legitimately changed by human action. (Genesis 1:27, 2:18-22; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
